About me.

 Hello, my name is Javiera Pérez, I am a desertic person, sort of speak, I was born in Arica, northern Chile. I live in the middle of the driest desert in the world, between two valleys and the ocean.

The truth is, I think I am a very simple person, I like to write, paint and listen to music. I spend my free time riding my bike and with my friends. I care a lot about nature.

My city is a border town, although I feel it more like a bridge. There are wetlands, birds and before the drought there were rivers. it is a quiet city, a little far away in many ways. We live here with my parents, my sister, I also have a brother but he lives in Santiago.

    It seems to be pretty cool to live in Atacama. I've never been there before, but i'd love to go there some day and know the most driest desert on the world hahahah

Say what you study and why you study it.

 Hello, I would like to talk a little about what I study to get to know us better. When I was a child I dreamed of being a builder, I made houses with blankets all the time, it was my favorite game. When I grew up I decided as a first option to enter a law degree. I did not feel comfortable in the work, so I deserted. So I decided to find something that I liked better. I entered the career of social work, I like discipline and how the work of social work unfolds, it has a solidary perspective in the face of problems, where we can develop thinking and work with people. I like it epistemologically, and I also like that it can be on the ground. The university has been an apprenticeship. It has been a good experience, it is strange to study online, sometimes I miss the interaction in learning. I am grateful to be able to study.
